Spurs Products

The patented blade configuration using hardened stainless steel combined with the unique action of positively catching debris, ensures that minimal loading is applied to the stern gear when cutting. It is so effective that you will rarely know when it has worked!

Spurs are simplicity to fit – the two halves of the cutter unit clamping onto the shaft, without removing the propeller. The wedge holding block fastened to the bearing housing completes the installation. Maintenance is just a simple bearing check/change.

SPURS cut in forward or reverse, and are in constant operation whenever the shaft turns.

At the haul-out time install SPURS for your own safety and protection. Most major yards and builders now install SPURS.
